According to our books, the fetus will be able to hear what’s going on in the outside world soon. Which means we can start singing to it and reciting Shakespeare. Maybe even a math lesson or two.
Also means we have to quit flipping back-and-forth to FOX news in the morning. While its auditory senses may be fully functional, I don’t think its sense of irony develops for a few more months.

Jake,
ReplyDeleteThis is the time to put your head on Kate's tummy and start whispering " Dadday knows better". Just make sure that Kate doesn't realize that you are talking to the baby.

PS.
ReplyDeleteIgnore the typo . . . such much for daddy finesse. I'm sure that you are not as computer or keyboard challenged as I am.

maybe if i wake myself half an hour before kate's alarm goes off, i can have some time alone to impart my wisdom. (not that that will be nearly enough time.)
