We met with our pediatrician yesterday. Well, actually, it was our baby-to-be's pediatrician-to-be. Kind of a question and answer session with a bunch of other prospective couples.
The doctor seemed really smart and thoughtful.
But more importantly, he was able to talk about the unappealing side of baby rearing with a smile. Never felt so soothing to hear someone spin tales about rashes, infections and jaundice.
And considering we'll probably be dealing with our fair share of each, that's pretty much all I needed to hear.
