The doctors wanted to take another peek because her placenta had been blocking the exit and the baby was standing right on top of it. Both reasons to force Kate to have a C-section.
Luckily, everything has shifted into place and is ready to go.
The doctor also found out the baby already weighs 6 pounds. Which is apparently on the big end of the spectrum. (And it still has its biggest month of growing to do.)
That, and the baby already has a full head of hair.
While Kate didn't walk away with any ultrasound pics this time, advanced computer simulations predict our child will probably look a little something like this:

ReplyDeleteI do think that, given the weight prediction, it's a boy. It would also be great to prove to Diane that her voodoo is a bunch of crap.
